CAD System Database Application Development

Compublue was asked to provide consulting services for the Water and Power department of the City of Glendale. The purpose of this project was to revamp the aging architecture, software, and database of the CAD system for the Glendale Water and Power (GWP). This project involved the following tasks:

• Audit and evaluation of the AUTO CAD 2000 database and application, including database connectivity automation between drawings’ objects and their related data
• Recommendations on Database and Application redesign
• Redesign of database and application supporting the GWP CAD system
• Knowledge transfer to the Water and Power Department management and technical staff at the City of Glendale
